Recently learned about these as I had to get one for overseas travel. With all the recent credit card theft, I was curious if these new cards had any security issues of their own. Turns out they do.
The biggest problem seems to be with modified credit card readers, and these vulnerabilities are not mearly theoretial, many have been observed in the wild.
