It used to be that when I wanted to bookmark a site, I’d click somewhere under the URL window and a pane would drop. On that pane was the choice “Add Page”. Click that, and you get a pane with the whole tree of all your bookmarks and bookmark folders. Choose one and go.
Now I click “Add Page” and a pane pops up but it’s blank. All it shows is a folder that says “Bookmarks Bar” and a folder that says “Other Bookmarks” — both of which are empty. All my hundreds of bookmarks display when I hit the Bookmarks icon on the bookmarks bar but the only way to add one to them seems to be by going into the Bookmark Manager.
Unless of course Google only wants you to have the ten or so bookmarks that fit onto the Bookmarks Bar, which I could see them doing but I don’t think that it’s right.
Is there a fix to make the “Add Page” thing work right?
