I use CCleaner for my PC, it clears out all the “junk”

Is there something similar for a Mac?

Father in law has a Mac, basic email and internet (Safari) and of course the insidious Facebooking…

So is there a utility that is free of course that will clear out all the cache and temp files and etc like CCleaner does for a PC?

Most of that is handled by the Mac OS itself.

Onyx from Titanium Software is a good cleaning utility that can manually run them.
Make sure you get the right version for you OS.
