Technology-savvy Democratic Representatives beat the Republicans who cut the C-SPAN feed during the gun control sit-in.

Should they have respected the Republicans’ wish to keep the session closed to the public?

It’s not as if some highly sensitive secrets like DoD plans were being discussed. This was attempted censorship, plainly and simply. Besides…why cut the feed? You’re televising what dimwits they are. All one has to do is make a comment to that effect, and that suggestion will be planted in the minds of the viewers. What part of “…shall not be infringed” do they not understand?

Given enough brains and technology, censorship is becoming less and less possible. Recall how some nations tried to hijack DNS to try to control what its citizens saw, and the citizens wrote graffiti with concise directions which when translated into English would read, roughly, “change your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4”

BTW, nice reference to “Firefly”/”Serenity”. That’s the choice I chose.

Well there wasn’t technically a session at the time.

I agree that technology can help people defeat censorship. On the other hand, internet content is becoming consolidated onto a handful of corporate controlled networks that are being pushed (by many of these same Dems) to censor more and more content.
