In booting the Windows machine here I was advised there was an update for Adobe Flash. Figured I might as well go for it!
Early on I was supposed to check off a box saying I had read their user agreement, and they provided a link to read it. So, being a good dawg, I figured I should read it.
That brought up a page with upteen different Adobe products, and far down the list there was something that looked like the correct item.
That let me download a .PDF file that with the Adobe reader I was able to view. (Fortunately I had that reader!) That user agreement was a 307 page document, in many, many different languages. Even the English portion was in legal nonsense that would not be of interest to a normal person.
I do have Firefox set here to ask my permission any time a site wants to give me something using Flash. Still a lot of those sites out there. Any good alternatives?
