For those running dual (or more) boot machines, I find it is best to turn off the automatic DST updates in all but one OS. I pick the OS I normally use.
That way, that OS will update the clock when needed, and when you bring the others up they won’t try to set the clock another hour off.
Too bad we can’t get the politicians to forget the DST nonsense and stick to something that is constant the year around. Anyone for going with UTC the year around?
