National Do Not Call Registry

  1. You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.
  2. You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).

  1. There is a free service called Nomorob.com. If you phone provider has simulting, where 2 numbers can be rung at a time, you can register there.
What it does is compare the calling number to their DB. If the number is there, it will disconnect the call after usually 1 ring. It works.
    I have Vonage.
