One Response to Firefox Password manager – Remember, delete and change saved passwords

  1. FFox password manager is a great tool, the ability to have a common password list that you share with multiple PCs (laptop, desktop) will encourage more people to have multiple, long passwords. Two cautions:

    1. If you use the password manager, you MUST create a strong master password. None of this “1234” stuff – grin.

    2. IF you start using FFox on another device and Sync with your existing FFox, it is CRITICAL to create master password on the new device also. What good is it to protect your passwords on one device and leave them exposed on your new, shiney PC?

FFox will not prompt you to do this, you have to be proactive.
