  1. Google’s privacy settings are both numerous and scattered all over the place. Facebook gives you a few simple settings all on one screen.

    Also, settings are one thing, then there’s what the company is legally allowed to do with your data. Facebook’s privacy policy is self contained whereas Google+’s policy has links to half a dozen other documents that you’re supposedly agreeing to. Since Google has many products, they also aren’t clear about how your data is shared amongst these various services.
